A clever plumbing distributor had HFS print QR codes on the spec sheets generated by the HFS system so the client’s plumbing crews could scan them to access installation guides. While it was a bright idea, in reality, it didn’t work well because it was too hard to keep up with all of this paper.
The distributor then had HFS develop a custom mobile app for plumbers to log in and access spec sheets and installation guides. The app’s simple design requires no training. And the distributor’s clients do more business with him because his app increases employee productivity.
